Rental Conditions

  • Surge for a property that meets your requirements on the “Home” page.
  • Send us your request by going to the "Contact Us" Tab and quote the property number (VOE001 for example).
  • We will contact you to verify availability or offer you other properties.
  • If the property that you are interested in, is available, we will send you the booking form and lease agreement.
  • Sign the lease and return it to us and make the required deposit into our Trust Account within 2 days to confirm your booking.
  • 30 Days before your occupation date you must pay the full balance of the total rent.
  • We'll prepare the home for your arrival.
  • Booking periods need to be a minimum of 14nights during the peak season (mid December to mid January).

Additional Information

  • The accommodation that we offer is self-catering.
  • Cleaning materials and toilet requisites are not supplied.
  • Beach Towels, Beach Chairs and Beach Umbrellas are not supplied.

Rental Conditions

  1. Provisional bookings or options can only be held for 2 days.
  2. A 50% deposit is required to confirm a reservation.
  3. The balance of the rent must be paid at least 30 days prior to the occupation date.
  4. All payments in terms of the booking shall be free of any bank charges.
  5. A refundable Damage Deposit shall be paid by the Tenant prior to occupation, to Accommodation Galore
  6. Application for the cancellation of a booking must be addressed to Accommodation Galore in writing.
    1. An admin fee R200.00 will apply.
    2. If the Tenant cancels the booking more than 30 days before the occupation date, 25% of the required rent deposit as indicated in Par 2.
    3. If the Tenant cancels the booking 19 to 29 days before the occupation date, 50% of the required rent.
    4. If the Tenant cancels the booking 0 to 18 days before the occupation date, 100% of the required rent.
    5. If Accommodation Galore manages to get a successful booking for the any part of the lease period, a pro-rata amount of the amount forfeited will be refunded.
    6. If the Tenant is unable to honour the booking because of the death or hospitalisation of the person for whom, or for whose benefit the booking was made, 100% of the amount paid minus R50.00 admin fee will be refunded, if sufficient proof is furnished.
  7. The property will be available for occupation from 15:00 to 18:00 on the first day.
    1. No keys will be handed over to the tenant after 20:00 on the first day.
    2. If the keys are handed over to the tenant between 18:00 and 20:00 a levy of R100,00 per hour, or part thereof, will be applicable, and shall be recovered from the Damage Deposit (Par 1).
    3. The property must be vacated by 10:00 on the date of departure.
    4. If the keys are not handed over to the Agent before 10:00 on the day of departure, one day’s rent will be recovered from the Damage Deposit.
  8. The rent reflected on the website does not include post cleaning and linen (depends on size of the property), DSTV fee, Booking Fee or Damage Deposit.
  9. No keys will be handed over to the Tenant before the rent is paid in full and proof of such payment is provided to the Agent.
  10. A maximum number of occupants of the Property shall be determined in the contract and no animals shall be allowed without the prior written consent of the landlord.
  11. No furniture or other movables may be removed from the property for any reason whatsoever.
  12. The Tenant shall be liable to make good all damage occurring on/to the Property or to the movables which results from the Tenant's direct or indirect use, of the Property.
  13. The Landlord and / or his Agent shall be at liberty at all reasonable times to inspect the said Property.
  14. No washing shall be hung on the outside of the said Property unless on the wash line provided (if applicable).
  15. The Tenant shall supply his/her own beach-towels – the towels supplied, (if applicable), in the Property are not to be taken to the beach.
  16. The Tenant occupies the property on his/her own risk and the Landlord shall not be held responsible for any loss whatsoever that the tenant or his/her family or guests may suffer as a result of any accident/incident that might occur on the property during the lease period.
